I recently went to a trade show in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It was a tradeshow for companies that sells business gifts and promotional items. There were more than 500 companies involved in this trade show. Some of the items really caught my attention such as a 3D animation creator that you are able to use for display at booths.
Talking about booths I believe that when you actually want to be a part of a trade show you should know many things before you get into it. Such as how and where to get display materials such as banner stands to display banners and your promotional products. This is so important to catch the eyes of the viewers and the buyers.
The trade show booths must be very attractive and interesting enough to draw a crowd of people. One which I really liked actually had their machines displayed at running mode on a table with golden table skirts. These were stitching machines that made a lot of noise but had high quality products being produced from them. I just stayed there staring at this item for more than 10 minutes although I had no intention whatsoever for this particular trade.
It is somehow interesting how just Pipe and Drape could make a whole exhibition booth at this trade shows. They are no common materials as they come in all shapes and sizes but it is rather interesting to see them. It was truthfully an interesting day out and I ended up getting tonnes of name cards and brochures. It was also a good day as well as I met up with an old friend.
Coming back from this event and going through this brochures made me come to a conclusion that I should call 4 of these companies up and ask for a salesman to see me soon in regards to some corporate gift ideas that I would be having to give out.
